The Town of Clarkdale is pleased to announce the launch of the Clarkdale Sustainability Park website, http://www.clarkdalesustainabilitypark.org
The Clarkdale Sustainability Park (CSP) is more than just a single site or a coordinated industrial district. It is truly a comprehensive economic development strategy for the Town of Clarkdale. With this plan, we are embarking on a new unified vision for the future of our town by encouraging an integrated sustainability strategy. The concept will foster a culture of energy, water, governmental and cultural sustainability and encourage high quality economic development and jobs for the entire Verde Valley.

The CSP vision includes three principal activities, or industries, each working in concert with the others. They are:
Multiple renewable energy producers which will supply carbon-neutral liquid fuels as well as electricity using solar, waste reduction and other leading-edge technologies to supply up to 50 megawatts of electricity to the grid.
Active research associated with the energy and water facilities with the goal of incubating new ideas that will help take our country into the next century.
Educational facilities that will teach and disseminate sustainable practices and technologies.
